The churches of Lindores Parish are schools for love and compassion, open to folk at all stages of development. We welcome anyone with questions to come learn with us, as fellow seekers of wholeness and holiness.

Meet The Team

Catherine Wilson
Interim Moderator
Catherine was appointed as Interim Moderator in August 2020 and chairs our Session meetings and sometimes leads services. Catherine, who was previously Interim Moderator at Largoward lives in Anstruther, where she usually attends St Ayle church.

Rev Valerie Walker
Pastoral Assistant &
Pioneer Ecumenical Community Chaplain
Valerie, previously ordained in the Scottish Episcopal Church, believes in the value of different Christian traditions and is keen to interact with the local community as part of an inclusive church without walls. Valerie, a former oncology nurse, welcomes anyone searching for hope in their lives or wrestling with difficult questions.

Elizabeth Lees
Session Clerk
Elizabeth moved to Newburgh 3 years ago, and soon became an Elder of Lindores Parish. She enjoys the church drama group where she has played several unusual lead roles. Elizabeth was appointed Session Clerk in May 2020 and can be contacted on elee1963.el@gmail.com
