OUR COMMUNITY
Our church is not just a building, we are part of a community of people, sharing our time, gifts and talents.
Newburgh Wellbeing Community Choir
We started the choir in September 2019 in response to our local GP wanting to ‘socially prescribe’ something beneficial to folk with various health needs. It’s led by Dave Watt, accompanied by James Ford and remains a great success, bringing music and joy to lots of folk. People from the local care home often attend, some in wheelchairs, accompanied by their carers.
Everyone is welcome to join us on Wednesday afternoon.
Local volunteers provide biscuits and a cuppa for us to enjoy after the singing.

When we were unable to meet during the pandemic we made a video and DVD with help of the charity Luminate, follow the link below to see it.

LABYRINTH WALKS AT THE ABBEY
Labyrinths have been used to aid meditation and prayer in many cultures for thousands of years. Children from the local primary school helped to create this beautiful labyrinth at Lindores Abbey Distillery. Our labyrinth was designed by Thorn Steafel, see more of his work by following the link below www.labyrinthmagic.com
